My dearest of all cats, Rah, has died today after a long fight with illness (induced by several poisonings he had over the past year.) Here's a photo from last year taken on the day I let all my cats roam free for the first time:
He was my friend, my companion, my pride and joy. I loved him dearly.

Hey Ivan,
Sorry for your loss...
Yeah, sorry for your loss.
Rah looks as like as two peas with my Taison.
I understand your sorrow.
Thanks guys - I appreciate it.
I'm a dog-lover, but last year I bought 2 cats that were about to be put down, and I know what you mean. I can't imagine life without them.
But what do you mean by, "let them run free for the first time"? My cats go out each day. All they do is sit on the front porch.
Thank you for commenting. Previous to moving to my house I was living in a 4th floor apartment so cats could never go out. Once I moved to the house I waited for a week or so for them to get accustomed to their new home and then I "let them run free for the first time." And run free they did. So much so that after a week Rah got lost for almost a month. When I finally found him he was fur and bones and little else.
